The Stainless Steel Plate has a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkaline gases, solutions and other media. It is an alloy steel that is not easy to rust, but it is not absolutely rust-free. Stainless steel plate refers to steel plate resistant to corrosion by weak media such as atmosphere, steam and water, while acid-resistant steel plate refers to steel plate resistant to corrosion by chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt. According to the manufacturing method, there are two types of hot rolling and cold rolling, including cold-rolled plates with a thickness of 0.5-3mm and hot-rolled plates with a thickness of 3-100 mm.
Stainless steel plate performance:

1. Corrosion resistance Stainless steel plate has the ability to resist general corrosion. Long-term heating in the temperature range of chromium carbide may affect alloys 321 and 347 in harsh corrosive media. Mainly used in high temperature applications, high temperature applications require materials to have strong sensitization resistance to prevent intergranular corrosion at lower temperatures.
2. High temperature oxidation resistance Stainless steel plates have high temperature oxidation resistance, but the oxidation rate will be affected by inherent factors such as exposure environment and product form.
3. Physical properties Its heat transfer is better than other metals with higher thermal conductivity.

About surface treatment,it is the most important part.For the cold rolled surface is 2B,Hot rolled regular surface is No.1.Because the process is different and the application industry is different, their surface treatment requirements are also different. For cold-rolled plate, the base surface is 2B. Many customers are in the decoration industry, such as hotel decoration, so they have very high requirements on the surface treatment. Generally they will choose BA, HL, 8K, gold and other colors.Please check following picture as reference:
Fine grinding 8K, super fine grinding 10K effect.Like this sample,this is 8K surface.It often used in hotel and indoor halls. HL surface,after wire drawing treatment. Closer we can see some straight lines,This kind of surface treatment has the characteristics of good hand feeling, fine luster and strong abrasion resistance. Often used in electrical appliances, machinery and elevators,etc.
In addition,we also can make golden and other color surface,The surface coloring process of stainless steel can bring different colors to stainless steel, making the metal more colorful. Coloring not only makes stainless steel richer in appearance, but also can effectively improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the product.
